Quilted Christmas Pillow Patterns
Looking for a fun project to sew for the holidays? We love quilted pillow covers - not only are they are fun to sew and a great way to try new piecing and quilting techniques, but they also make great gifts!
We've designed several Christmas pillows and wanted to share our favorites with you all in one place.
Ready?
Noel Pillow (PDF pattern available here)
Our Noel pillow uses traditional piecing methods to spell "NOEL" and strip piecing for a fun take on a checkerboard border. You can also use assorted scraps or mini charms to piece the border section as well.
Pretty Present Pillow (PDF pattern available here)
This pillow uses a mini charm pack and some additional yardage for the ribbon and background. It looks great in a variety of collections, too!
You can also use this pattern to make a table runner like the one we made using ombre fabric.
Festive Star Pillow (PDF pattern available here)
Stars are a classic quilt block and holiday motif, too! Our festive star works well in a two color scheme like we did in prints from Fig Tree in our original.
Mr Snowman Pillow (PDF pattern available here)
Speaking of stars, our Mr Snowman Project pattern includes this pillow (and TWO more great projects!) that features a grid of four stars. The star centers are perfect for fussy cuts of snowmen, Santas, angels or whatever your holiday heart desires!
See all the the basket and minis included in this project pattern here.
Sweater Stripe Pillow (PDF pattern available here)
This fun pillow was inspired by nordic sweaters. It also works great for holiday prints that are fussy cut worthy like the bears in scarves shown in this version below. Piecing the baubles to alternate with the fussy cut stripes is easier than it looks, too! This pattern also includes a star back, too!
We hope you enjoyed checking out these fun and festive pillow patterns! Don't miss our selection of Christmas and holiday prints in the shop - many of which would be great in these projects!
Happy sewing!
