Strawberry Season - Drawstring Bag Sew Along
Sometimes there is a project that I can't stop thinking about, so it gets shuffled ahead of the many WIPs I have going.
It's strawberry season around here - farm stands with overflowing berry baskets are popping up all over and I've already made my very favorite strawberry cake (see more on that below).
The Strawberry Social Pattern by The Pattern Basket has always been a favorite and we all know I love to piece a bag. So why not combine the two?
I whipped up two of these cute bags in an afternoon over the weekend and already have plans for more. (No one should be surprised. ;) And I thought it would be fun to have a relaxed little sew along here on the blog & IG for those who want to join the fun ...

- Friday, May 20 - Supplies (Large Size & Small Size) - kits available
- Tuesday, May 24 - Prep Bag Components
- Friday, May 27 - Quilting & Assembly
Very Important - You will need the Strawberry Social Quilt Pattern (Large) or Mini Pattern (Small) to complete this project. I will share measurements for framing the block and making the bag. I will not be providing directions here for the strawberry block itself. You can get PDF patterns directly from The Pattern Basket.
